Krysla Karlix named Chief Operating Officer at Medical City Green Oaks Hospital
Krysla Karlix has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Medical City Green Oaks Hospital. She replaces Pam Whitley, who is retiring in early 2017.
Karlix served most recently as the Chief Executive Officer at Garland Behavioral Hospital in Garland, Texas. She previously worked as Executive Director at Medical City McKinney Wysong campus, under the management of Medical City Green Oaks Hospital.
As COO, Karlix will be responsible for operations at the Medical City Green Oaks Hospital main campus, a 124-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital which includes a 24 hour psychiatric emergency room serving Dallas and surrounding areas. She will also manage outpatient psychiatric services, including outpatient treatment clinics at the Medical City Plano and Medical City Las Colinas campuses, the Medical City Green Oaks Outpatient Day Hospital, and the Medical City Green Oaks Integrated Clinic.
Karlix is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington.
